Karanga
The Global Alliance for SEL and Life Skills
Our Purpose
Karanga, Māori for "a call out in welcome", is the Global Alliance for Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills.
The Alliance was developed out of a series of social and emotional learning sessions in 2018/19 in Salzburg Global's Education for Tomorrow’s World program.
Karanga’s mission is to inspire and equip practitioners, policy makers and researchers from across the world to promote quality and equitable Social Emotional Learning and Life Skills through initiatives that connect, coordinate, and drive action.
The network continues to meet online every first Tuesday of the month.
SEL Global Leadership Series
The Social and Emotional Learning Global Leadership series was a collaboration between Salzburg Global, Karanga, and Knowledgehook that brought together leading thinkers, practitioners and change-makers each month to talk about innovative work they are doing around social and emotional learning.
