Rakishma M leads monitoring, evaluation, and learning at Slam Out Loud, where she drives impact measurement and strategic development for the organization's social and emotional learning programs. She applies both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to capture learning outcomes in children, visualize data, and craft compelling narratives of impact. Her work helps shape Slam Out Loud's strategy to enhance both the rigor and reach of its initiatives. Her professional journey includes teaching primary grades as a Teach for India fellow and leading research and design at EduMentum, an education non-profit incubator at Mantra for Change. There, she supported local organizations in refining their programs, theories of change, and ground-level impact measurement. Driven by a deep belief in every child's potential to thrive on their own terms, Rakishma is also inspired by the arts and actively engages with Indian classical visual and movement arts. Rakishma holds a master's degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and a degree in early childhood education from Azim Premji University.
