Embracing a New Experience
You've received an offer to join a Salzburg Global program, but you're unsure what to expect. You've read an introduction to Salzburg Global, but now want to learn more about the Fellowship.
We'll explain what this new experience entails.
A typical Salzburg Global session lasts three to five days. While it's enough time to start focusing on some challenges and brainstorm a few solutions, we recognize it is not enough time to find all the answers.
Once you've attended a Salzburg Global program, you officially become a part of the Salzburg Global Fellowship. You join more than 40,000 other Fellows who have attended Salzburg Global's sessions since 1947, who have sought to open up a world of better possibilities.
The Fellowship is a chance to build on your initial session conversations, expand your knowledge, gain new perspectives, and continue meeting change-makers from around the world. On this page, you'll learn how.
You'll also learn more about what it is like to attend a session and what you might need to know ahead of your stay at Schloss Leopoldskron.
Planning Your Trip and Participating in a Session
The majority of Salzburg Global's programs occur at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, Austria. As well as being our historic home, the palace is also home to a hotel where our program participants stay.
We've prepared two lists of FAQ to help Fellows plan their stay in Salzburg and learn more about our Listening & Exchange Program.
We've also outlined our Professional Conduct Policy and what we expect of Fellows during a session regardless of its location.

Recommend a Fellow or Partner
Do you know someone you think should be a Salzburg Global Fellow? Is there an institution that could help us co-design or deliver a program? Get in touch, and help us share the Salzburg Global experience.

Donate Your Experience or Time
Some programs offer mentorship opportunities. If you've written a book, there's also a chance to donate a copy to Schloss Leopoldskron's Max Reinhardt Library. If this is of interest, get in touch.

Support Our Hotel
If you've stayed at Schloss Leopoldskron during your session, please consider leaving us a review on Tripadvisor. We also encourage Fellows to return and take advantage of their 10% discount on hotel rooms.
Reconnecting with the Fellowship
If you're a returning Salzburg Global Fellow, you may wish to join the Salzburg Global Fellowship is on Forj Connect (formerly known as Mobilize) , a platform designed to help build online communities.
On this platform, Fellows can connect with other Salzburg Global Fellows in their program, sector, or region. They can post opportunities, seek advice, and develop ideas first shared during a Salzburg Global session.
