Nishtha is a storyteller at heart and a development sector professional with over 7 years of experience leading initiatives in gender justice and child protection. She has created and lead programs for grassroots girls' leadership across 86 urban slum clusters in Delhi. Her work has also extended to collaborating with school teachers, principals, and community members on whole school transformation projects in government schools. She holds a Master's in Politics with a specialization in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University. As a feminist poet, storyteller, and artist, Nishtha strongly believes that art is the most powerful tool to advocate for social change. Nishtha is a fellow at Vital Voices and a Rise Up Leader. She was selected as a 'Young Leader Delegate' to the 2019 AIT SEASAT Youth Conference in Taiwan. In her current role at Adhyayan, Nishtha serves as a Knowledge Manager, overseeing all knowledge-related activities including management, capture, sharing, and accessibility of knowledge assets.
