Tom Ravenscroft is the founder and chief executive officer of the Skills Builder Partnership, based in London. He leads a global movement of more than 950 partners including educators, employers, and impact organizations united by a common language and approach to building essential skills such as teamwork, communication, and self-management. The Partnership supported more than 1.8 million individuals in the past year, and its approach is now being replicated in over 20 countries. Tom began his career as a secondary school teacher in East London through the Teach First program, where he founded Skills Builder in 2009. He was named UK Entrepreneurship Teacher of the Year in 2009 and served as a non-executive director of Teach First. In 2017, he was elected an Ashoka Fellow, and the Partnership received the UK Social Enterprise Award for Impact. It was also a finalist for the WISE Award in 2022. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford, UK.
