Benoy Stephen is the co-founder and director of Y-Ultimate, a nonprofit that uses ultimate frisbee to build life skills and leadership among youth from underserved communities in India. A former Teach For India Fellow, Benoy has spent the last decade designing programs that are playful, purposeful, and rooted in social-emotional learning. He previously coached India’s national ultimate frisbee team and is passionate about creating inclusive pathways in sport. He was selected as an InnovatED Fellow (2019), an UnLtd India Fellow (2022), and is a current Acumen India Fellow Candidate (2025). Based in Delhi, he leads Y-Ultimate’s work across schools and communities while dreaming of new ways to nurture a new generation of local coaches and leaders.
