Heather Singmaster is the director of the Global Cities Education Network (GCEN) and Career Technical Education (CTE) at Digital Promise Global. Her work focuses on integrating global competence into CTE and vocational education programs at the secondary and postsecondary levels. She also leads GCEN, a network of international cities that collaborate on sharing best practices in education. Heather speaks and writes regularly on global education and previously served as the host of Education Week's Global Learning blog. Prior to joining Digital Promise Global, she held roles at the Center for Global Education at Asia Society, the Council on Foreign Relations, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Office of the United States Trade Representative. Heather holds a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University, USA, and an M.A. in Anthropology from New York University, USA.
