Jessica Williams is a Senior Policy Associate at J-PAL Global, where she supports education research, policy development, and evidence synthesis. She contributes to initiatives such as Post Primary Education, Foundations of Learning, and Learning for All, which aim to improve global learning outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Before joining J-PAL in 2023, Jessica was a strategy analyst at Merlyn Mind, an ed-tech startup focused on AI assistants for K-12 teachers. She previously taught eighth-grade algebra in Chelsea, Massachusetts, where she worked on curriculum design and afterschool programs for girls in STEM and sports. Jessica has also held analyst roles at Social Finance and Directorio Legislativo, an Argentine NGO. Jessica holds a M.A. in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's in Economics from Harvard College, where she graduated cum laude.
