Executive Director, The Social and Emotional Learning Alliance for New Mexico, USA
Amy Franklin has spent over two decades as a student, trainer, researcher, author, and speaker in the field of emotional intelligence and social and emotional development in schools. She is encouraged by the growth of the field and its increasing integration into education systems worldwide, recognizing its potential to help all youth thrive. Amy believes that through education, society has the power to transform the social order promoting greater freedom, equity, social justice, and the development of critical cognitive, emotional, and social capacities for all. She is deeply grateful for the global Karanga community, and the many meaningful connections formed through this movement. For her, this work is not just important, it is a matter of equality.
