Asia Peace Innovators Forum 2025

Peace is key to ensuring Asia’s sustained development and prosperity as the world’s most populous region grows in global geopolitical and economic importance. But despite the region’s rich experience in mediating peace and reconciliation, the learning exchange between regional, local and community-driven initiatives has so far been low. The Asia Peace Innovators Forum shapes long-term peace, stability, and regional cooperation in Asia by building a network of mid-career professionals working in different sectors and countries to exchange knowledge, community-driven approaches, and best practices.  

Following five online meetings, this program was the first opportunity for Fellows of Cohort 4 to meet together in person. Together, they had the opportunity to further their own existing work, develop collaborative projects, as well as to discuss the issues relevant to them, and build their skills. 

Participation at this meeting was limited to existing members of cohort 4 of the Forum. Members of the Forum were selected following a competitive application process, which closed on September 16, 2024.
