Salzburg Global Weekend

Our 2026 Salzburg Global Weekend will focus on our Annual Spotlight, “Seizing the Moment. Shaping the Future.” The weekend will be a special program for our Board of Directors, Fellows, Partners, and invited guests and will feature a diverse group of speakers and Salzburg Global Fellows to discuss the fundamental changes happening now and how they are reshaping our world, including questions of democracy, authoritarianism, technology, culture, and the future of international cooperation in an era increasingly defined by polarization and disruption.

In that context, the 2026 Salzburg Global Weekend will open a space for dialogue and debate about how we need to adapt for a future that looks very different from the past. Speakers and participants will be those who are taking personal responsibility to seize this moment and create a future of shared possibility, prosperity, innovation, and transformation – those helping point the way forward, exploring the values and ideas that will shape what comes next, and what will be required to reimagine the future.

On Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20, the program will include a series of keynote talks, panels, and “Salon” conversations with extraordinary leaders and Salzburg Global Fellows from around the world.

Then on Sunday, June 21, we will host our 2^nd annual “Salzburg Global Open House” – a unique festival of ideas in our Schloss Park – for our community of Board of Directors, Fellows, partners, and friends. The Open House will include talks, readings, films, music, performances, and cuisine, and will showcase how Salzburg Global brings the world closer together in ways that “Seize the Moment & Shape the Future.”
