Amy Karle

Artist, United States of America

Amy Karle is an internationally recognized ultra-contemporary artist, designer, and futurist whose work examines how emerging technologies are reshaping humanity, identity, society, and the future. Working across artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and computational design, she creates artworks that function as both cultural propositions and research-driven inquiries into exploring the ethical, cultural, evolutionary, and philosophical implications of technological transformation. Her practice bridges the biological, digital, and social, asking how we might shape more conscious, equitable, and life-centered futures in an era of profound change. Karle's work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including Centre Pompidou, MoMA, Mori Art Museum, The Smithsonian, Ars Electronica, and Triennale Milano, as well as in space and on the Moon. Karle was named one of the BBC’s 100 most inspiring and influential women, recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in 3D Printing, and received the Pioneer in Design Award. Karle also served as an Artist Diplomat through the U.S. Department of State, advancing social innovation and women’s empowerment through art, design, science, and technology.
