Salzburg Global Open House: Centering Africa

Salzburg Global lädt herzlich ein zum Open House auf Schloss Leopoldskron – dem beliebten "Tag der Offenen Tür" in neuem Gewand!

Ein ganzer Tag voller Musik, Foodtrucks, Bars, Ausstellungen und spannender Gespräche erwartet Sie – mit einem besonderen Schwerpunkt: Afrika im Fokus. Dieser Tag ist Afrika gewidmet – jenseits von Klischees und Vorurteilen. Gemeinsam möchten wir die Vielfalt, das Potenzial und die Schönheit des Kontinents sichtbar machen und neue Perspektiven eröffnen.

Die meisten Programmpunkte werden auf Englisch angeboten, ausgewählte Panels und Interviews mit den Salzburger Nachrichten finden auf Deutsch statt. Zwischen 11:00 und 17:00 Uhr gibt es stündlich geführte Schlossrundgänge auf Deutsch (Dauer ca. 45 Minuten, zwei Gruppen pro Stunde, keine Anmeldung erforderlich).

Unsere kleinen Gäste können sich ebenfalls auf ein buntes und spannendes Kinderprogramm freuen, das mit vielfältigen, spaßigen Aktivitäten Kreativität und Bewegung fördert.

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, aber nur mit vorheriger Anmeldung möglich. (Siehe unten)

Salzburg Global warmly invites you to an Open House at Schloss Leopoldskron!

Enjoy a day of live music, food trucks, bars, exhibitions, and inspiring conversations – with a special focus on Africa. This day is dedicated to moving beyond clichés and stereotypes surrounding the African continent, aiming to highlight its diversity, beauty, and potential, while opening up new perspectives.

Most of the program will be held in English, with select panels and interviews with the Salzburger Nachrichten in German.
Between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, there will be guided Schloss tours in German every hour (approx. 45 minutes each, two groups per hour, no registration required).

Our younger guests can also look forward to a colorful and exciting kids' program featuring a range of fun activities that encourage creativity and movement.

Admission is free, but advance registration is required. (See below)
