Thomas Biebl serves as managing director for public affairs at Salzburg Global. In this role, he leads the organization's global branding, communications, and outreach, while overseeing strategic initiatives to enhance visibility, partnership development, and long-term impact. He also manages business development, marketing, and sales for Schloss Leopoldskron, the historic home of Salzburg Global, and oversees overall brand strategy for both Salzburg Global and Schloss Leopoldskron. Thomas brings over two decades of international experience at the intersection of non-profit leadership, strategic communications, and organizational growth. His work focuses on brand strategy, organizational storytelling, and leveraging marketing and communications for scalable impact. Prior to joining Salzburg Global in 2011, Thomas held senior positions at the Waldzell Institute, HILL International, and the World Summit Awards, where he helped shape high-profile platforms for cross-sector dialogue and innovation. He holds an executive leadership diploma from INSEAD, an M.B.A. from the University of St. Gallen, and a master's degree in communication studies and psychology from the University of Salzburg.
