This session explores key developments shaping the future of media in the Arab Gulf through case studies from Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It highlights shifts in storytelling, audience engagement, cultural preservation, and media innovation across the region.
The session will explore the rise of podcasting as a mainstream storytelling format, media initiatives that promote and preserve the Arabic language, the growth of newsletters and niche storytelling communities, and digital platforms dedicated to preserving and showcasing Gulf cultural heritage.
