Reinhardt Celebration

Our Purpose
The Reinhardt Celebration is an annual tradition at Schloss Leopoldskron, honoring Max Reinhardt's artistic legacy with diverse performances, workshops, and cultural activities.
Max Reinhardt, one of Europe's most renowned theater producers and the former owner of Schloss Leopoldskron, used the Schloss as a vibrant venue for theater, arts, and international exchange. This tribute revives the theatrical style of this unique individual who helped Schloss Leopoldskron and Salzburg become an artistic and cultural hub.
Our Format
The Reinhardt Celebration invites guests to spend an evening experiencing the Schloss in the unique theatrical style of its former owner Max Reinhardt.
These theatrical performances take place throughout the unique salons of the Schloss, inviting audience members to follow performers throughout the rooms as different scenes are performed. The moving theater performance, a characteristic style of Max Reinhardt, weaves poetry, music, and history into a single immersive evening.
