Future Forum
Part of Salzburg Global's Salzburg in Austria Event Series
Our Purpose
The Future Forum is an annual one-day event hosted by Salzburg Global at Schloss Leopoldskron during the final week of the Salzburg Festival. On this day, we convene leading voices such as Nobel laureates, business leaders, journalists, diplomats, and other exceptional guests from around the world to exchange ideas on pressing global issues.
This event provides a glimpse into our organization and introduces participants to the Salzburg Method, our unique approach to convening and collaboration. The Future Forum showcases our programming while enabling us to cultivate new relationships, serving as a gateway for those newly engaging with Salzburg Global and our international network.
Our Format
Each session takes the form of a dynamic, in-depth salon conversation between individuals on stage - an interviewer and distinguished guests - in front of an audience of approximately 150 participants.
Rather than relying on traditional expert panels, this format enables a nuanced exploration of pivotal issues, fostering an organic, engaging exchange of ideas. Designed to encourage spontaneity, intellectual depth, and meaningful dialogue, these conversations go beyond surface-level discussions, offering fresh perspectives and profound insights.
