Becky White is a consultant and researcher with 20 years’ experience in health promotion, digital health and infodemic management. Her work focuses on health promotion and digital health, including the intersection of the information environment and public health, digital health literacy, and the development of user-centred digital health solutions. She has worked extensively with national and global stakeholders, combining her research expertise with real-world application. Becky has worked on infodemic-related projects across a range of areas, including as part of the global COVID-19 response, researching information trends over the course of the pandemic and vaccine related narratives and misinformation. Becky is especially interested in information equity, including how priority population groups experience infodemics, and opportunities to create healthier information environments. She has published and contributed to a number of academic publications and technical documents. Becky has a PhD in Public Health from Curtin University, Australia, and is an IUHPE accredited Health Promotion Practitioner.
