The first residential meeting of Sciana Cohort 9 will bring together a new group of health leaders from Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom to begin their fellowship journey under the theme Systems Leadership for Health in a Digital Age.
As digital technologies continue to transform health systems and shape the wider determinants of health and wellbeing, Fellows will explore how leaders can harness these opportunities while addressing emerging challenges related to equity, trust, governance, and resilience. The meeting will provide a space for participants to build relationships, exchange perspectives, and develop a shared understanding of the opportunities and risks presented by an increasingly digital world.
Throughout the programme, Fellows will examine topics including digital transformation in health care, artificial intelligence, health and digital literacy, data governance, cybersecurity, health equity, and the role of digital environments in shaping wellbeing. They will also begin developing their cohort's Sciana Challenge, identifying a shared leadership challenge to explore over the course of the two-year programme.
Through dialogue, reflection, and engagement with peers, Advisors, and invited contributors, the meeting will lay the foundation for a collaborative learning journey focused on strengthening health, equity, and societal resilience in the digital age.
