Greening School Grounds Community of Practice Monthly Meeting
Invited Guest: Laureline Simon, Founder and Executive Director, One Resilient Earth
Laureline Simon's work is with One Resilient Earth is part of an emerging field aimed at addressing the Social Emotional Learning dimension of climate change education, which is critical for mobilizing youth agency while rebuilding relationships to oneself, others, and the planet. This session will explore how educators can support students to honor and stay present with complex feelings, and guide them toward developing valuable experiences and skillsets for personal and collective resilience.
