Zoe Berghorn, a Political Communications major with a Psychology minor, is a rising junior at Emerson College in Boston, MA, USA. She is the treasurer of the oldest professional organization on campus, the Communications, Politics, and Law Association. Last December, she presented at the Global Communications Summit in Barcelona about AI technology being used in the mental health field. As a member of the association, she helped facilitate meetings with US officials for its members and created activist events hosted by the organization. Zoe also works as a Student Ambassador at the Office of Student Success and Care and Support on Emerson's Boston campus, helping direct students to faculty resources and plan events to create a more welcoming environment at Emerson. She has written papers and conducted extensive research on political spectacle and the narrative storytelling of music in the political sector. Zoe has a real passion for education policy, focusing on creating comprehensive education for students and comparing the United States system with those yielding better results around the world.
