Yoonjin Kim is a public interest lawyer working at Dongcheon Foundation, which worksto protect the rights of vulnerable groups such as homeless people, disabled people, North Korean defectors, and migrants. She has been conducting regular legal counseling andproviding legal support in lawsuits for the relief of discrimination against the disabled, and for North Korean defectors. She has participated in studies on Veterans Affairs and State Compensation for Suicidal Soldiers (2017), the revision of North Korean Defectors Protection And Settlement Support Act (2023), the revision of Act On Support For Welfare And Self-Reliance Of The Homeless, among others. She is currently in charge of Dongcheon Housing Justice Center. She is a member of the Legal Aid Group of 'Disability Discrimination Act of Solidarity in Korea' (DDASK), a network for reforming national basic living security act. After majoring in political science at Seoul National University, she graduated from Seoul National University Law School.
