Wahidullah Azizi is an anti-corruption activist and practitioner with over five years of experience working with reputed organizations including Transparency International (TI) and Integrity Watch. At TI, he worked on promoting public accountability in climate finance where he has contributed to the Climate & Corruption Case Atlas highlighting instances of corruption in climate initiatives. Prior to this role, Mr. Azizi worked in Brussels at the European Council for Refugees and Exiles (ECRE) advocating for the rights of Afghan refugees in the EU. He is the recipient of the DAAD scholarship award for 2020-21. He is also the only Afghan awardee of the 2023 Swedish Institute's Leader Lab Fellowship program. In addition to this, he champions the rights of Afghan girls who are barred from getting an education to attend school. In 2023, he addressed a session at the British Parliament urging support for Afghan women's right to education.
