Vanessa Aires is the creative psychologist leader for TORKE CC, a creative consultancy agency, where she works to leverage organizations' creative potential through the empowerment of their individuals and the redesigning of their human systems. She has a passion for humans and nature and is a trained psychologist, facilitator, and human systems designer. She has traveled and lived with local communities across 4 countries on 2 continents. Her focus is on human development and she has applied her psychological approach to children, their caregivers, and homeless communities. In 2018, she founded KETI KETA, a reference to the revolution of the Portuguese educational system - the first nature-based kindergarten in Portugal rooted in permaculture ethics and designed under its principles. They've successfully merged land regeneration with human systems regeneration, always aiming for the (re)connection of humans, small and grownups, with (their) nature. Vanessa is also a board member at Projecto Novas Descobertas, a non-profit association based on a regenerative farm in the south of Portugal. With over 25 years of experience in the field of education through nature, their focus has been to promote non-formal programs for schools and individuals, including summer camps committed to providing a community-based experience for children aged between 8 and 16 years old. For the past 10 years, they've been developing and experimenting with a new methodology for the empowerment of youth into regenerative leaders.
