Olatunji Offeyi is a freelance journalist based in the United Kingdom, who previously wrote for The Week magazine as a special correspondent (Lagos) for several years. He is interested in discovering and exploring innovative ideas, novel approaches, and new ways of thinking to tackle long-standing societal problems and injustices. Tunji's projects include contributing to the Faces of Assassination by The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime, a book on human Trafficking titled Many People: Different Tales and a collection of poems titled Echoes from The Soul. His research studies transverse journalism, European-African politics, liberalism and labour economics. He has previously campaigned on social justice issues with the Labour party and the Liberal Democrats, including implementation of a strategy to improve democracy in Europe. He received an M.A. in International Relations from Staffordshire University, a B.A. (Hons) in Literature in English from Lagos State University and certificates from University of Derby-RJP, Central European University and University of Oxford.
