Company Director, Writer and Director
Tshepo Moche is a writer and director with Play Nice Pictures. Her work focuses on youth development, education, the African narrative, and social and gender-based themes. She began her career lecturing and writing for live-action television before stepping into the world of animation. She contributed as a writer to Netflix's Supa Team 4 series and later served as executive creative consultant and writer for Kiya and the Kimoja Heroes, produced by FranceTV, eOne, Disney Junior, and Triggerfish. Tshepo made her directorial debut with her short film First Totem Problems, part of the Disney+/Triggerfish Kizazi Moto anthology series. She now works as the showrunner for the Azania Rises animated series while also serving as a development executive for Triggerfish. A recurring jury member for the MIPCOM Diversity and Inclusion Awards, Tshepo continues to lead impactful projects with her Play Nice Pictures team, working across animation and live-action.
