Troy Benavidez serves as Vice President of Corporate Affairs for LIXIL Americas and Leader of International Government Relations and Policy at LIXIL. Bringing together more than a decade of experience across federal, state, and international policy—ranging from roles in the U.S. House, Senate, and multiple state governments—Troy has shaped strategies in water, sanitation, hygiene, and sustainable infrastructure. At LIXIL, he leads partnerships with governments and NGOs to tackle global water and wastewater challenges. He has also moderated panels at industry conferences such as Plumbing Manufacturers International, focusing on water efficiency, drought resilience, and sustainable building systems. Troy currently sits on the 2025 Board of Directors for Plumbing Manufacturers International, where he contributes to policy, standards, and industry advocacy. He previously chaired technical committees alongside LIXIL colleagues, helping guide innovation in plumbing and water-management. He holds an MBA from Drexel University and a B.S. in Political Science and Economics from Colorado College His unique blend of public-sector insight, industry leadership, and hands-on project work makes him a passionate advocate for developing workforce skills essential to the circular economy in the water and plumbing sectors.
