Toninio Waelkens is a digital sustainability policy trainee at DIGITALEUROPE in Brussels. He supports various working groups, including those focused on European policies related to chemicals, eco-design, and responsible business conduct. Throughout his academic journey, he analyzed Belgian and European policies, as well as partnerships aimed at mitigating the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals on both human health and the environment. In parallel with academics, Toninio served as a business development and communications intern at a health start-up in Berlin and worked as a healthcare professional in Brussels, where he improved his skills and gained insights into the healthcare industry. He successfully completed his master's in health policy at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium in September 2023.
