Teklemariam Awoke is the Innovative Financing Expert at WRI for FOLU Ethiopia. Before joining WRI, Teklemariam was working in a consulting company as a business development advisor, specialized in rural finance and was supporting different projects and financial institutions in the design and implementation of innovative financing products and modalities. Formerly, in an MFI in Ethiopia, he served at different capacity, and he was Market Research and Business Development Department Manager by the time he left the organization. He also worked as an accountant in different companies. Teklemariam holds master's degree in business administration, BA degree in marketing management, and diploma in accounting. Also followed different internationally accredited training programs. In his spare time, Teklemariam likes visiting historical places.
