Tanja Hichert is the head of Hichert & Associates in Cape Town, South Africa. She specializes in scenario planning, horizon scanning, risk management scenarios as well as facilitating strategic conversations that provide clarity and direction for organizations faced with complexity and uncertainty. Tanja is also a research associate at Stellenbosch University's Centre for Complex Systems in Transition, serves on the board of the Association of Professional Futurists, and is a co-founder of the Foresight for Development platform. Tanja holds an M.B.A. specializing in strategy and forecasting, and a M.Phil in futures studies (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
