She has dedicated the past 11 years of her life to working with several grassroots and international organizations in helping to conserve biodiversity, and empowering and mobilizing youth to take action globally and locally. She has helped mobilize a vibrant movement for biodiversity within the youth community and has led the effort to coordinate the creation of over 50 GYBN regional and national chapters. She is also supporting GYBN in building strong partnerships and creating space for critical dialogues with Civil Society Organizations, Indigenous People, Governments, IGOs, and private sectors. In the future, Swetha hopes to continue channeling her energy into working on international projects and movements that are meaningful, just, and impactful on the ground.
