Sukyeong Kang is CEO, founder, and music director of Seoul Artistic Orchestra. She founded the orchestra to create better environments for young musicians. She is focused on musicians' social responsibility for their community and world. She has been managing special concerts for diverse audiences and conducting new music performances at major concert halls such as Seoul Art Center, Lotte Concert hall, Sejong. Sukyeong has worked as a conductor for youth orchestras, was instructor of the "Very Young Composer" project by New York Philharmonic, and reporter of "El Sistema" in Korea. In 2019, she participated SOCAP19, the largest international social impact forum in San Francisco, United States as part of the Korean delegation. She majored in music composition and music education at Ewha Womans University, Seoul. She was on the Dean's list for six semesters and earned a teacher's license in music education. Sukyeong was an exchange student at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington, United States and Seoul National University. She is currently pursuing a master in orchestral conducting from College of Music, Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Now, she is preparing an international project celebrating 130 years between Korea and Austria. She will make the project with young artists. Sukyeong is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
