Sukjae Lee is Professor of Philosophy at Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea, where he is also currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees. His primary area of research is the history of western philosophy in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and has published articles on philosophers such as Leibniz, Malebranche, and Berkeley. Prior to joining SNU, he taught for nine years at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He was formerly Dean of the College of Humanities at SNU and now serves on the Board of Trustees at the Chey Institute of Advanced Studies and Amorepacific Foundation in Korea. In addition, he is also on the Board of Directors at Hanwha Corporation and Shinsege I&C.
