Sue Egersdorff is founder of the UK award winning charity, Ready Generations which serves to connect people of all ages through relational and creative practices. Sue is a highly experienced educationalist having worked as a senior civil servant, assistant director of children's services and national early years expert. She has worked across professional boundaries to connect education, health, social care and family services to secure greater impact and better outcomes for children and young people. Ready Generations operates the first fully integrated nursery in a care village in the UK. This involves babies and children under five learning alongside older people every day with older people acting as intentional educators and mentors. In February 2023, the Nursery received an International Intergenerational Innovation Award through Generations Working Together for its pioneering work.
