Sue Egersdorff

Sue Egersdorff is an experienced education professional. In 2019, she co-founded Ready Generations charity. In summer 2022, Ready Generations opened a fully integrated intergenerational nursery in partnership with a care village for older people. The Nursery operates a curriculum for both pre-school children and older people. Since opening, this unique model of educare has received high profile sector awards and accolades. Sue’s passion is to improve relational connection to support health, wellbeing and life-long learning. She believes the concept of reciprocal communities is key as well as encouraging a strong individual sense of identity and belonging. She is committed to sharing research, hoping to encourage a reimagining of services that recognise human needs are complex and contextual realities are diverse. Sue was previously a Director for Early Years Leadership at the UK National College for School Leadership and a senior civil servant advising Government on early childhood education and care. Sue is a well-respected speaker and writer.
