Sude-Meryem Fidan has been studying political science at Georg August University in Göttingen since 2017. Her goal is to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree and then pursue a Master's degree in European Law in order to later work in public service. She is interested in international and European political and legal affairs, simultaneously concerning what is happening in her local community. Therefore, she plans to stand for the Integration Council in the next local elections (2025) in her constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia. In her studies, she is currently learning international and intercultural competencies about inclusion and participation in diverse societies in multinational projects like the European Citizens Initiative and the NICE program (Network for Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship), whereby she has already learned the part about interculturality as a third-generation guest worker child in her childhood.
