Head of the Department of Virology, Institut National de Recherche Biomédical, Democratic Republic of Congo
Steve Mundeke Ahuka is a medical virologist since 2011 and the Head of Virology Department at the National Institute of Biomedical Research (Kinshasa, DR Congo) since 2015. In addition, he is Professor of Microbiology and Virology at School of Medicine at Kinshasa University since 2013. He worked as an Incident Manager of Ebola Outbreak in DR Congo from 2019 to 2021, and as an Incident Manager of Covid-19 national response Team in DR Congo from 2020 to 2023.
