Steve Cinderby has over 30 years of professional experience working in low-middle income country and European research projects. He is a Senior Researcher focused on community resilience, urbanization issues (including green infrastructure and mobility) and their links to wellbeing. He co-leads the SEI City Health & Wellbeing initiative which has investigated how rapidly growing cities are affecting the wellbeing of residents, and how this interacts with the overall health of city system especially for vulnerable communities in Asian and African cities. Steve has led projects utilizing creative methods to improve engagement both in the UK and Africa. He has provided training and capacity building in diverse locations including Kenya, Tanzania, Thailand, Indonesia, Ghana, Burkina Faso, the Netherlands, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, China, Ivory Coast and India.
