Stefan Steger is the Country Chairman, Switzerland & Austria for Korn Ferry, based in the Firm’s Zurich office. During his career, Mr. Steger has gathered deep expertise across the energy and multiple energy intense industries. He is also a key member of the firm’s board practice and a practicing NED on outside boards. Mr. Steger has more than 25 years of professional experience in organizational and leadership development, executive recruitment, benchmarking and assessment. He advises international clients on the entire range of their leadership needs. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Steger was the Austrian and Central and Eastern European managing partner for another global firm. Previously, he held various management positions with VA TECH, Austria's formerly largest global industrial group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Steger was a lawyer in a public notary's office in Austria and later worked for Bank Austria in London. Mr. Steger holds a doctorate in law from the University Paris II - Assas and the University of Salzburg. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration from IMD. He is fluent in German, English and French, and speaks Italian.
