Sonia Malaspina is HR Director Italy & Greece in Danone. She joined Danone in 2011 and implemented the Parental Policy that is soon deployed globally (100.000 employees); in 2020 she has launched the Caregiver Policy. She has collected data from the rigorous application of these policies in terms of social and economical impact. She is leading a team of researchers that observe and study the impact of care activites on work performance. She has led the Geneder Equality Europena Inetrantion Standard Certification in 2017, the B Corp certification in 2020 and Danone is ranked between the top workplaces in Italy in the last 10 years. Sonia is recognised as Equal Opportunity expert in Italy. She is part of various Scientific Committees: at Corporate (Winning Women) and Accademic level (Bocconi Welfare Observatory). She acts as Advocate at Institutional level to improve the country legislation on care related matters. She has presented Danone Italy case at ILO and UN Women in 2019. S he has been TED speaker in 2021 with "How to implement gender equality at work" (available on YouTube).
