Sokkoeun Man is the executive director of Youth for Peace Organization, specializing in peacebuilding, leadership, and reconciliation. With over 17 years of experience, he works to foster understanding and healing among victim-survivors and former Khmer Rouge members. His efforts include engaging community resources, local authorities, and civil society in Cambodia and across Southeast Asia. Sokkoeun actively promotes dialogue through education and art, facilitating reconciliation initiatives, advocating for community memorials and Peace Learning Centers, and pioneering a Community-Healing Approach to support former survivor-victims in remarrying. He has coordinated the development of a teacher's guide for integrating Khmer Rouge historical sites into Cambodian public education and led efforts to document victim-survivor stories and Khmer Rouge historical crime sites in Cambodia. Sokkoeun holds two master's degrees: one in education management and planning from the Royal University of Phnom Penh and another in applied conflict transformation from Panhasastra University and the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies.
