Sofia Ahmed is country manager of the Food and Land Use Coalition at World Resources Institute. In this role, she provides strategic leadership to the coalition, working collaboratively across the FOLU network to advance the FOLU agenda with governments, the private sector, financial institutions, and civil society. Prior to this, Sofia worked at several regional and international organization providing strategic direction, overall program management and coordination. Sofia has served on the board of directors of the national civil society organization and member of advisory board. She holds MA in development studies from Institute of Development Studies Dublin, Ireland and BA in political science and international relations from Addis Ababa University with graduate certificate in Human Rights Leadership as well as Peace and Conflict Studies.
