Shu Wei
Immersive Technology Researcher, Yale School of Medicine, USA
Shu Wei is an XR researcher and developer working at the intersection of immersive technology and healthcare innovation. Holding a PhD in Virtual Reality for Psychiatry from the University of Oxford, she designs and develops VR health applications—such as VR psychotherapy—powered by biometric sensing and avatars. Her award-winning work, recognized by IEEE VR and the Francis Crick Innovation Challenge, blends scientific rigor with creative digital storytelling. She is passionate about creating XR experiences where evidence-based science meets thoughtful, human-centered design.
