Shingo Potier de la Morandière is the director and co-founder of Impact Hub Tokyo which he co-founded with his partner in 2012. After studying engineering, he worked as a trader on the global financial markets in London, then as CFO and investor in the start-up industry. He now focuses on spatial production and business production, mostly in Japan. To date, he has founded and co-founded over 10 businesses. In the recent years, he has worked on then the largest innovation space design and creation in Japan, multi-location residential estate re-design, and multi-purpose community hub in Tokyo. His spatial design work is quite unique as the spaces he creates incorporates locality, culture and space-owners' needs and these spaces are also designed to be sustainable, brining maximum impact to the community it belongs to. He has a master's degree in engineering from Imperial College London, UK.
