Shilpa Nadhan is Director of Human Rights Policy on the Global Public Policy team at The Walt Disney Company. Prior to joining Disney, she was Manager of Social Impact and Global Responsibility at Marriott International. Before Disney and Marriott, she worked at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), to support humanitarian crises that included Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, Myanmar and Bangladesh. She has also worked with the International Rescue Committee and the U.S. Institute of Peace. She has a dual bachelor's degree in English Literature and Media Communications from New York University and a master's in International Relations from Georgetown University. She has received fellowships from the Aspen Institute, the German Marshall Fund's Manfred Worner Seminar, Atlantik-Brucke and the Japan Foundation. She is currently a Board Member of GoodWeave International, a non-profit organization that works to end child labor in global supply chains.
