Deputy Director
Sewon is responsible for formulating international development cooperation strategies spanning regional (e.g., Africa), sectoral (e.g., Science & ICT, Agriculture), and country-based (e.g., Bolivia, Uzbekistan). Prior to this, Sewon held key roles at the Prime Minister's Press Office, managing public and media communications during the COVID-19 pandemic, and at the Government Performance Evaluation Office, where she managed performance indicators for national tasks across ministries. Notably, she also contributed to the success of the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic & Paralympic Games as the General Manager of the Ice-cluster, Gangneung Olympic Park. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and an M.P.A. from Seoul National University in Korea. She was awarded a Korean government scholarship for youth officials and is heading for further studies at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in Fall 2024, focusing on economic and political development.
