Sakara Velapan Priyanthi Sepalika is a social justice professional in Sri Lanka working in the peace and reconciliation sector. She is responsible for coordinating and managing programmes enhancing co-existing of inter ethnic and inter religious faith groups. She has worked extensively with LGBTIQ community, male and female sex workers, drug users and people who live with HIV. Sepalika has experience in conducting and research community awareness on online child sexual abuse. She has also been a key member of the team that conducted and analysed data of the national youth survey 2009 conducted through the Social Policy Analysis and Research Center of the University of Colombo. She has a bachelors degree in social science and a masters degree in regional planning and development from University of Colombo.
