Sarah Mason is the Director of the Center for Research Evaluation at the University of Mississippi. In her role, Sarah works to advance the practice of evaluation through (1) innovative methods, (2) high quality training for evaluators, (3) public advocacy in support of evaluation, and (4) developing practical tools that allow individuals to embed evaluation into everyday practice. Prior to joining the University of Mississippi, Sarah worked at the Center for Program Evaluation at the University of Melbourne (Australia). Before that she worked in the international development sector for 10 years. Sarah has led research and evaluation projects across a wide range of international contexts, including Afghanistan, East Timor, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, United States, and Australia. Sarah is also a yoga teacher, yoga therapist in training, and holistic nutritionist in training. She sees value in recognizing humans as complex beings and adopting holistic approaches to advancing health and wellbeing.
