Nicole Erickson has been a community college instructor teaching writing and literature for 22 years. In this role, Nicole works to find real-world problem-solving and provide ways to grapple with the complex world. Nicole is also an American literature specialist and teaches world literature in context. She also continues to work on literature of war and reconciliation. Nicole is dedicated to global citizenship. Nicole is also a volunteer for Ft. Worth Sister Cities International and is currently preparing to take students to Budapest, Hungary in the Spring. Nicole is a trained docent for the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth, TX. It is her belief that exposure to culture and travel can promote equity, opportunity, and a more harmonious world. Nicole holds a bachelor's in studio art and a bachelor's in English from the University of Texas at Austin. She also holds a master's degree in English with a focus on American literature in context and American studies from the University of North Texas. Nicole is a Fellow of Salzburg Global Seminar.
