Salma Yusuf is a senior international expert and specialist consultant on peace and conflict, transitional justice, human rights, democratization, and governance, providing technical expertise to a range of international and national organizations, including governments, UN institutions, IGOs, INGOs, and the corporate sector. Currently, she serves as a practising lawyer at the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka. Salma has previously worked as the Chief Draftsperson and Process Lead for Sri Lanka's first National Policy on Reconciliation and Coexistence, the first such policy in Asia. Additionally, she is a founding member and Steering Committee Member of the Women Mediators across the Commonwealth Network.
