Sabrina Stein

Sabrina Stein serves as Program Manager for the Office of the Vice President — Programs at the Open Society Foundations, which she joined in March 2019 after working as Program Officer for Advocacy for the Latin America and the Caribbean Program. Previously, she worked as a Program Manager at the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum (CPPF), a program of the Social Science Research Council, for seven years. Her work there included managing initiatives to strengthen the UN community's knowledge base and analytical capacity in conflict prevention, conflict management, and peacekeeping. She was born and raised in Uruguay and speaks Spanish, French, and Portuguese. She holds a BA in French and a BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude, and an MSc in Climate Change and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
